Childhood and Citizenship: Making Children Visible in our Society

One of the core principles at Frog Hollow Reggio-Inspired Learning Centre is Making Children Visible. Too often, society views children as citizens of tomorrow's world, rather than valued as citizens of today. As a result, their contributions are often overlooked.

This article explores some of the ways we work to value children’s contributions here and now. It also shares some of our efforts to create contexts and conditions for their contributions – in the childcare centre and outside.
